What is the cost?

The fee for use of our birthing suites and the fee for the care you receive from your provider may be separate. Clients of BetterBirth, LLC, pay a single fee for their provider and facility. Clients of non-BetterBirth midwives will pay a facility fee of $1000 to BellaNatal in addition to paying their providers midwifery fee. Contact your non-BetterBirth provider for the fee he or she will charge for your maternity care services.

Do you have insurance?

We do not accept insurance or Medicaid, but don't let that deter you! Many people think using their insurance is the least expensive way to have a baby, but it may not be true. Depending on your deductible and co-insurance amounts, it may be much more affordable to deliver at BellaNatal Birthing Suites than to use your insurance at the hospital. Here is an example of the out-of-pocket costs for a natural (no epidural) delivery at a Utah County hospital with insurance that has a $1500 deductible and and 80/20 co-pay (meaning the insurance pays 80% of costs after the deductible is satisfied) vs. a natural birth at BellaNatal Birthing Suites:

These figures are an estimate only (but based on actual hospital reported charges), because unfortunately, when you birth in hospital there will be many fees you cannot predict. At BellaNatal Birthing Suites, your fee is always the same. There are no surprises.
